Taken during a recent visit to Longwood Gardens … and I know I must be getting old, because I thoroughly enjoyed spending the afternoon strolling among plants and flowers and large expanses of grass and water.

Heading to a paint-drying convention this weekend. Hoping my heart can handle it.

I said I knew I was getting old when I started to enjoy NPR and when I started wondering, “EEWWW, I wonder if they EVER clean these seats?!” before getting on a roller coaster.

Ewww…thank you! Now I will never be able to view a roller coaster seat in the same way again. That’s just…disturbing. lol

First of all, I have posted photos of flowers on my blog. Secondly, I’m usually not that fond of foliage photography [that includes my own]. Thirdly, this photo changed my ‘meh’ feeling on flower photos. Love the movement. It’s like that flower in the foreground is all Whappa! Take that!

Thank you. I appreciate the feedback.

Every time I post a flower photo, I feel like I’m inflicting … something … something unpleasant — or at least undesirable — on people. But I had the new zoom lens on the camera, and I dug the way this one came out.

The good news is, I took other photos of plants and flowers while we were there … so I can inflict those on all of you soon! You’re welcome! 🙂
